How does he do that? Drew has an amazing intuition. So, he walked in just before the start of the race and pronounces the winner. "I like Number 4." "Do you know something about the horse, rider, trainer, owner, color or name of the horse?" I ask him. "No," he responds, " I just like the number 4 today."Now, for the past 30 years, everyone I know bets the opposite of Drew's picks. His brother, Mark, used to call him on Sunday mornings for his Football picks, just to bet the opposite.
Needless to say, Drew didn't place any bets. For once, I am sad about that. Being a "winner" is fun for all of one minute. Sadly, we are no richer. Oh, well.....
