Next week marks the end of the college basketball season. Finally. My mind went numb after the third game last weekend. Saturday and Sunday, I watched two men's games and one women's game. 2:30, 5:00 and 7:30 p.m. games. Whew! I watched some of them alone and some with Drew. They were great games; I believe I cheered for whoever was the underdog, and probably Duke. I have been a college basketball fan for 30 years. I don't really have a team. I have many. I look forward to filling out the brackets and guessing the winners, like a lot of people. But I never bet and I usually forget to look to see how I'm doing. I've been almost any Big East team fan... the Orange, Rutgers (I like knights), Seton Hall (I like -fictional- pirates), West Virginia, Villanova (I like wildcats - I think), depending on who's friend's kid went where or who I know went there or what coach is fun to watch or which big man sports a tattoo of his mother or grandfather. I love a close game, well executed, with few fouls and time-outs. I really don't care who wins.
